The Dakota Discovery Museum will be hosting the annual Haunted Village for children on Saturday, October 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. This free event for families and children ages 10 and under will feature fun and crafts for the kids! There will be treat bag printing, pumpkin painting and refreshments. Receive treats from the Grim Schoolmarm at the 1885 Territorial Schoolhouse, the ghosts of the 1886 Beckwith House, the lonely 1914 Depot agent and the denizens of the 1908 Church. Steampunk members of Northern Plains Confederation will also be on hand to create a unique Halloween atmosphere.
The event is sponsored by Hanselman’s Pumpkin Patch. Donations are welcome and go to benefit the programs of the Dakota Discovery Museum.
